Directions to Liebenzell - Phila, So. Jersey

Getting to the Liebenzell USA Guest House & Retreat Center . . .

. . . from the PHILADELPHIA area; southeastern PENNSYLVANIA; Trenton and areas of southern NEW JERSEY:

• From Philadelphia and southeastern Pennsylvania, take I-95 North; from south Jersey, take I-295 North to I-95 at Trenton. Follow I-95 to Exit 4, ROUTE 31/Pennington/Trenton.

• At the end of the exit ramp, follow signs for Route 31 North, toward Pennington, Flemington, Clinton and Butzville.

• At Ringoes, Route 31 joins Route 202 North (follow the signs up an entrance ramp to your right) and becomes four lanes. Continue until you reach Flemington.

• At the Flemington Circle, Route 202 and Route 31 divide; be sure to stay to your left as you enter the circle, make the first left to remain in the circle and then immediately make the next right to stay on Route 31 North.

• Continue on Route 31 North. In about 10 miles you reach Clinton and the interchange with I-78. Continue north on 31.

• Follow Route 31 North for about seven more miles, through the town of Hampton. You will come to a traffic light at "Asbury-Anderson Road". A large A&P shopping center with a McDonald's will be on your left. Turn right here onto County Route 632.

• Follow for about 4 -5 miles to a stop at Route 57. The historic Anderson Hotel is on your right, with the old Methodist Church on your left.

• Bear right onto Route 57 and follow for about 6-7 miles. You will come to Beattystown. Once you pass through town, you travel through two traffic lights with a Wal-Mart shopping center on your left.

• Next you will see a Shop Rite plaza on your left and third traffic light for "Newburg Road." Turn right here.

• Newburg Road is very short and at the stop sign, turn right onto Schooley's Mountain Road; head up the mountain for about one mile.

• You will come to a cross roads intersection. Heath Lane turns to the right and Flocktown Road to the left. You will see a sign for Liebenzell on the right. There is a large eagle carved from an old tree on the left.

• If you are going to the Guest House, turn right onto Heath Lane, go about 300 yards and you will see the Guest House directly ahead of you. Turn into the driveway on the right and go around the building to park.

• If you are going to the Retreat Center, stay on Schooley's Mountain Rd. for another two-tenths of a mile, passing the General Store on your left. Turn right on to Pleasant Grove Road. Emmanuel Bible Church will be on your left after you turn. Follow Pleasant Grove Road for eight-tenths of a mile; the Retreat Center will be on your right.
